Wire EDM Machining

Precision wire EDM cutting for components that conventional machining cannot handle: hardened tool steels, tungsten carbide, titanium or Inconel, tolerances down to ±0.002 mm and internal corner radii from R 0.05 mm.

Wire EDM Machining
What we offer

Any conductive material, any hardness

Wire EDM is a non-contact process — the wire never touches the part, so there is no cutting force, tool wear, or deformation. We cut hardened tool steels, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and titanium without disrupting their material structure.

We hold tolerances of ±0.002 mm (2 microns) as standard. With ultra-thin wires down to Ø 0.1 mm, we achieve internal radii from R 0.05 mm — the only viable technology for internal keyways, sharp keyway slots, and fine gearing. Typical applications: injection mold inserts, punches and dies, and parts for the medical and aerospace industries.

Accuracy ±0.002 mm

Micron-level tolerances repeatable across full batches.

Cutting of hard materials

Hardened steels, carbide, titanium and Inconel without structural damage.

Ra 0.2–0.4 µm finish

Skim passes eliminate the need for polishing or grinding.

Radii from R 0.05 mm

Wires down to Ø 0.1 mm for internal splines and fine gear teeth.

Wire EDM Machining
What we offer

Surface finish that saves a polishing operation

Wire EDM cutting achieves a uniform surface finish of Ra 0.2–0.4 µm straight off the wire — without costly manual polishing or grinding. We handle workpieces up to 1,050 × 820 mm, weighing up to 1,500 kg, with a cutting height of up to 305 mm. High-pressure flushing helps maintain high precision and cut straightness even on tall workpieces. We cut thin sheets in stacks, reducing the cost per piece.

Machine travel X / Y / Z: 600 × 400 × 310 mm, optionally Z up to 425 mm.

Technological infrastructure

Modern milling technology for precision machining and even the most demanding jobs

CNC milling accounts for a large part of our production capacity. We use modern HURCO CNC milling machines, manual programming for simpler parts, and the integrated SolidWorks/CamWorks CAD/CAM environment. This enables us to efficiently handle orders of varying complexity, with a focus on quality, efficiency and a stable production process.

The main part of our capacity

CNC milling accounts for approximately 80 per cent of our production capacity.

Dimensions of machined parts

The maximum dimensions of a milled workpiece are 1200 × 500 × 500 mm, with a weight of up to 50 kg.

Strong quality infrastructure

An experienced team, our own climate-controlled laboratory and modern measuring equipment help us maintain a high standard of quality control.

Precision 3D part measurement

Thanks to ZEISS 3D CMM measuring centers, we measure parts precisely according to drawing documentation and 3D models, including dimensionally demanding components.

Proven processes

We work in accordance with ISO 9001 and Six Sigma principles and can handle demanding quality processes such as PPAP, FAI and SPC.

Continuous production improvement

We use Lessons Learned, 8D and Six Sigma DMAIC to prevent errors and continuously improve production stability.
